This itinerary offers a comprehensive exploration of the diverse cultures and landscapes of southern Ethiopia, including interactions with various tribes, visits to traditional villages, and scenic drives through the Rift Valley. Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

Arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Transfer to your hotel and check-in.

Depending on your arrival time, you can explore some of Addis Ababa's attractions such as the National Museum, Holy Trinity Cathedral, or Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the city.

Overnight in Addis Ababa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa to Arba Minch

After breakfast: depart from Addis Ababa towards Arba Minch, a journey of about 500 km aprox. 6-7 hours’ drive

En route, you can stop at various viewpoints and towns for refreshments and to stretch your legs.

Arrive in Arba Minch in the evening and check into your hotel.

Relax and enjoy dinner overlooking the beautiful landscape of the Rift Valley.

Day 3: Arba Minch - Dorze

After breakfast, Depart from Arba Minch and drive to Dorze.

Visit the Dorze village and learn about the unique traditional houses made of bamboo and thatch.

Interact with the Dorze people and witness their craftsmanship.

Overnight in Dorze and experience their local cuisine and cultural performances.

Day 4: Dorze to Turmi

After an early breakfast: Leave Dorze and head towards Turmi, located in the heart of the Omo Valley.

En route, stop at various viewpoints and villages to interact with local communities.

Arrive in Turmi and visit the Hammer tribe.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Hammer people.

Overnight in Turmi.

Day 5: Turmi to Karo

After breakfast: Depart from Turmi and continue your journey towards Karo.

Visit the Karo tribe and witness their unique body painting and scarification practices.

Explore the villages and interact with the friendly locals.

Overnight Camping in Karo Village

Day 6: Karo to Omorate

After breakfast: Drive to Omorate, a small town on the banks of the Omo River.

Cross the river by boat to visit the Dassanech tribe.

Explore their villages and learn about their traditional way of life.

Return to Turmi for overnight stay.

Day 7: Omorate to Jinka

Morning: Drive to Jinka, a bustling market town and gateway to the Mago National Park.

En route, stop at Key Afer market (if it's market day) to witness the vibrant trading activities of the Banna and Tsemay tribes.

Arrive in Jinka and check into your hotel.

Afternoon: Explore the Jinka Museum to learn more about the history and culture of the region.

Overnight in Jinka.

Day 8: Jinka to Mursi Tribe

Early After breakfast, Today, visit the Mursi tribe, known for their distinctive lip plates and elaborate body painting.

Explore their village and learn about their customs and way of life.

Return to Jinka for overnight.

Day 9: Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute activities or relaxation.

Check out from your hotel and transfer to Jinka Airport for your departure flight back to Addis Ababa
