Harar City

Bale

Bale, also known as Bale Robe, is a town located in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It serves as the administrative center of the Bale Zone. The history of Bale dates back centuries, with the area being inhabited by various ethnic groups, including the Oromo people.

Bale has historically been an important trading hub due to its strategic location along trade routes connecting different regions of Ethiopia. The town has also been known for its agricultural activities, particularly the cultivation of coffee, which is one of Ethiopia's primary exports.

After breakfast, depart from Addis Ababa towards Awash National Park, located approximately 225 km east of the capital.

Full day exploring Awash National Park.

Visit landmarks such as the Rimbaud House, Harar Museum, and the colorful markets.

Day 10: Awassa - Drive to Arba Minch

After breakfast, depart from Awassa towards Arba Minch, located approximately 270 km southwest of Awassa.
